Our Qualifications
John G. Schaefer, CLU, ChFC began the firm in 1975, Dennis M. Printy, CLU, ChFC, joined him in 1977 with Tamara K. Schaefer,Investment Advisor Representative, uniting the three in 1994 to create the firm of Schaefer Printy Associates. John received his bachelor's degree from Kent State University in 1972. In 1981 he received the professional designation of Chartered Life Underwriter from the American College and in 1984 he received the professional designation of Chartered Financial Consultant. He has conducted numerous adult education classes as a licensed instructor with the Department of Education for the State of Ohio. He has served on the Ohio Association Speakers Bureau with OAIFA since 1979. John is the Past President of the North Central Ohio Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is also member of the Society of Financial Services and NAIFA. John is currently registered to offer securities products in several states including: Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, and California.
Dennis M. Printy, CLU, ChFC, received a bachelor's degree in English literature with a minor in business administration from John Carroll University, and earned both the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from the American College. Dennis has been closely associated with the North Central Ohio Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors for the last 32 years where he served as President, Vice President, Secretary, and also served on the board as a trustee. Through this organization Dennis earned the prestigious designation of MDRT. Dennis has shared his knowledge through seminars on long-term care and college funding.
Tamara K. Schaefer, Investment Advisor Representative, earned a bachelor's degree in business with a minor in accounting from Bowling Green State University. Tammy continued to successfully complete the Series 7 Securities Exam and is registered to handle the Individual Stock and Bond Sales in addition to the other financial services offered by the firm. She also holds a Series 63 registration and is able to offer Life, Health and Variable Insurance products in the states of Ohio, Florida, Michigan, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. Tammy has shared her knowledge and experience of Tax Preparation, during the Tax Season, through Tax Credit Seminars and Tax Planning Strategies with her clients.
